Welcome to Tales from the Coffee Pot!

My name is Zac Castle and I’m an aspiring writer looking for a platform to start posting my stories. I decided to make a blog to do it, even though I hate the idea of managing a blog site, and I’m hoping to add all the short stories I write to here.

I’m in the process of writing an apocalyptic science fiction serial called The Blink, but I also write other short stories when I need a break from eternal darkness and winter. I have a few shorts I’ve finished already and some nonfiction essays collecting dust on my hard-drive, so I’m planning to use this site to post those and whatever other stories pop into my head.

Feel free to leave a comment on any stories you read and tell me what you like about it (and what you hate about it). I’m mostly looking for a good place to get some feedback on my writing and improve my craft, so by all means fire away.
